Mikey Main is a producer, composer and recording engineer hailing from Cicero, IL. Main’s interest in music production first emerged at the age of twelve when he received a keyboard as a Christmas gift. Main quickly mastered the instrument and at fourteen was inspired to pursue a career in music production after watching the cult classic “Kill Bill” which was famously scored by RZA, a member of the Wu-Tang Clan.
With the support of his friends and family, Mikey Main began forging a career in music production. In the last fifteen years, he has worked with artists like Juice Wrld, G Herbo, Twista, Do or Die and Bump J. Main creates tracks in all genres in both English and Spanish. His goal is to make well-constructed projects that can appeal to all demographics.
Mikey Main’s most recent project, an album entitled “FXJI - Lil Cult”, was created with his late friend of over ten years, Nick “FXJI” Estrada Jr. Main remarks that “Nick was a son, brother, friend, artist, musician, barber, and all-around good soul. Much of his work involved photography, film, design, and hair dressing for many people known in the music industry & pop culture. He was respected within several communities he engaged in and will greatly be missed.”
Now that Mikey Main has partnered with Mobbed Up and Urban Grind TV, he has no intentions of slowing down. Keep an eye out for more of his releases.
